Did you know The trees were gnarled Where they stood, outside my window? They were eloquent … Were your civilized trees Standing in neat rows Always so hemmed in?

Up the ladder: Lost and found
Down the ladder: I Speak of Expanses

um, neeter, paki dinged me for opening with a question once. this shows me why. That is the only change. Very good. Less is more always works for me.

I like the idea of gnarled trees this is an interesting poem...I think I would like it better if there was more to it more interesting verse's like this one
