The last stir of the light,
Fleeing the shadow
Of hopeless finality
Creeping toward my heart,
And the silence,
As you turned again
To stone cold idol,
Guarding the secret haunt
Of bygone lovers,
And their secret dreams,
Abandoned
In the dark night
Of your soul?
Did you notice
The raging sun
Of a fearful new dawn,
Burning on the horizon,
Silent witness to the carnage
Of endless days to come?
Did you notice
My savage passing?
Drawn against lifeâs current
Into Hellâs eternity,
A casualty of your own cruel nature.
Did you notice?
Up the ladder:
Cursed
Down the ladder:
Worshipping the Porclin God

Plays coyly on my gilded cape.
Did you notice
My bloodied anguish
Drip down upon the scarlet garden?
AND SO FORTH IN THAT VEIN.
Fights extrovertadly in our chapped cloak.
Does I ignore
Your watery splendor
Freeze up into the emerald desert!
AND SO WITH ON THAT BONE.
