Identity versus confusion Real life versus illusion Is this what I've been longing for? Its been so long I can't remember Who am I? Who am I? Where do I stand? Am I a mouse or am I a man? What is my Ambition? While I was searching for direction I came upon my own reflection There is no future when you have no past No hope thats ever gonna last If I have any depth its because I'm hallow Lost with no clue what path to follow Asking who am I over and over again Searching for my motivation

Apparently you think the aim of poetry is to take an idea on which you have only the vaguest of grasps, write down the first things that come to your mind when you think about the idea, and then try to confuse the reader with obtuse, meaningless sentences that at first glance look like ones that actually have meanings, so their grasp is made even worse than yours.

Well you're right! That is the aim of poetry.

Does anyone ever understand anything Daniella says? on the fourth line from the end do you mean hallow or shallow? Its often best not to wonder who-am-i because the answer always seems to be i-am-nothing!

Actually in retrospective I did mean hollow. Meaningless bull shit on trying to find myself, more about exploring being an artist and all that fun goo rather than any life message statement.
