Third Period English (Other) by Sawa
The girl across from us sits With a shining stare. Poetry from her lips spit, Beady eyes aflare. Words fly from her chubby jaw, Falling to the ground; Jutting teeth from gaping maw Mangling the sound. She stumbles and sprays as we Grimace in dismay. How could that hag turn beauty Into sheer blase?

Up the ladder: The lightest touch
Down the ladder: in a singular way
