Saline drip to the eye (Free verse) by INTRANSIT
Bereft of all color. Her winds, stolen Churning blood, sapped, squeezed, discarded. Undefineable skies. Sponged until cracked. Excavated to invisibleness. Murdered, pelted, ground. Remnants: A chalky ashen ball too hostile for bacteria or virus. The moon now has more character. subliminal milky ooze.

Up the ladder: The Long Night

Really liked the second stanza, relates so beautifully to the title, creates an amazing picture of the diseased eye.
