save it from the age (Free verse) by abecedarian
invisible cities crawl past sleeping ages and in an eye's lit glimmer of recollection we sense home and break down the door to find a rotting cottage of pots and pans and a stained mattress but moving beside the bed under a creaking board packed knowingly away (to save it from the age) is a name given to thoughts that remind us of something we ought to know but can't remember
