Happy Kid (Free verse) by ThoughtfulSoul
He always seemed like a happy kid. Never frowning always smiling and always friendly He always played baseball with the other neigborhood kids. He was a straight A student. He had a pretty girlfriend. That boy had a future, a promising one Everyone thought he was a happy kid till his parents found him hung to death and a suicide note attached to his chest.

Up the ladder: THe Missing Piece
Down the ladder: Wither Away
