SHADOWS OF DARKNESS (Free verse) by TanHand
A woman weeps IN THE SHADOWS A stream forges a path in the dust SHADOWS RAGING INFERNO Her dead son Deep in the SHADOWS of the underworld Drinking absinth, smoking clovey delights Of herbal VAMPYRE His wiccan face PALE AS BUTTER MELTING IN THE SHADOWS Even the SHADOWS are too light for me I must PAINT THEM BLACK I must taste the taste of BLOOD I must capture a bat in my heartcage I feel an urge to build a marble city A city of DEATH Deep in the SHADOWS The SHADOWS OF DARKNESSS

Up the ladder: Sometimes it Hurts...
Down the ladder: sandbars

Black girls hate being called "Brown Sugar". My nose is still bleeding...I guess you have to be old and british to get away with that.

You're as goth as a blood red rose reclining on a cut of black velvet. Oh, and there's a drop of blood on the stem. And it's black.
