The Eye (Other) by Enki
The mask I wear is never seen. It hides the I which is obscene. It serves a purpose most oblique. The face it shows is rather bleak. Were I to show the inner I. The ego would be heard to cry. Were I to take off mask most dashing. The sound heard would be of teeth gnashing.

I wouldn't bother with the rhyme. This poem pretends to be profound then rhymes dashing and gnashing. It just seems a bit daft
