Liberal's Lament, 2003 (Free verse) by Frass
Afraid to enter the fray Bray like a mule Osprey flung by wartalk winds The rule rules Code orange Rhymes with ticking time Our hero does not dare Bare his nerves. And the mood was edgy The edgiest comedians toned it down Just securing the homeland Just did not question the war footing In 1933.

Up the ladder: February
