The importance of lighting (Free verse) by blackball
i stand under shattered light our minds, faces, bodies, moving as one i engulf you in perfect splendour as everyone watches your hands, my hands move together there are no longer four roving hands, only two palms, ten digits fluttering over one entity it seems an eternity that we lust, unconscious in desire expanding and contracting with the dangerous beat encompassing us all for a brief second i take my eyes away couples everywhere, our lust seems intoxicating the lights are beautiful; their radiance adds fuel to the fire what once was innocent, now is vibrant, alive again our hands, as one, encompass your body i move for a kiss i am alive we are alive this should never end the ceiling explodes, devastating the mood we move, quickly yet discretely like a woman and her shadow finally as one
