Today I met an old man in a worn out dirty raincoat.
Who said he'd been a soldier, and had fought four years in France.
He didn't look a soldier, he looked so frail and feeble.
So far away from fighting, in the fields where poppies
dance.

So we kicked the shit out of him and hit him hard in the head with our bong, man. Then the police came and said the dude was dead.
I met an old guy in France who was a soldier many years before. He spoke better English than most Englishmen.
I'm partial to poppies and soldiers, and revolution. Not just because i have the band morphine blaring 11 currently either. nice quick verse here. cut and dry. have a 9.
