Now We are Half (Free verse) by Roisin
Now we are half. Inside out Insides out Trying to heal. The distance between us Gapes open. The pain intensifies with every advance. Only memories are left; The moment we realized We are one of the same, Swimming in the sea With you in winter, Or the final moment Four eyes looking Blindly, Choosing a life of lonesome Loathsome indifference Rather than the acknowledgement of self.

Up the ladder: Rose Wall
Down the ladder: Seattle Seasons

Like a Siamese twin. I'll give you an eight for this, mainly because I like it.
