Skin on My Soup (Lyric) by jessicazee
Bothersome companion, I hate to skim you and throw you away, But you're stopping me from spelling words In my alphabet soup today. You're not discriminatory, but you're best on split pea, and there's cream of broccoli, vichysoisse and beef barley. I pray for the day when the broth of my soup is clear as a bell, but as I speak my consomme is going straight to hell, because of... Chorus: Skin on my soup That's my analogy Burn you in effigy You settle on my minestrone. The fat has risen and accumulated My carrots all have suffocated It's time to eat I must reheat I just can't skim you away, hey hey hey... I'm gonna stir you up Mix you in and swirl you around and around Now I've killed you with my soupspoon And sucked you down (Chorus) But remember that the soup is the first course of many to go, Why just think of what the Jell-O and the gravy boat have to show (Chorus)

Up the ladder: genuine
Down the ladder: Disgusting Stickmen

The trick is not to let it come to a boil. Neither soup, nor jello, nor gravy. Heat it through, but do not scald. You must stand at attendance, with the flame at low-medium. Then when the steam begins to rise from the rim, take it off the heat and cover. Perfect, I never have served an unsightly dish.
