eyes (Free verse) by moonUnit sometimes you'll forget yourself
and look into somebody's eyes
and they will be
angry, or afraid, or
both at once.
they'll smile at you
as if you are a camera
but they turn away
so quickly
so quickly that maybe
they imagined you,
after all.
in this world,
nobody wants to know you.
still,
you see everything
they are and they are
everything.

sure. i enjoyed the poem. "there goes another one" was what i said kind of daydreamishly as a witness to what happened in your poem. meaning we lost another one to 'everything'. i hope you're okay with that.
this I like. it captured a "thing" and played it back from a different perspective. especially the "perhaps they just imagined you" twist. :)
