My New Enemy??? (Free verse) by fallrocks87 U told me once that it was true
U said one time that I would never leave u
I believed all your lies and promises
What could I do?
All I could do was sit here and cry
And try to build up the courage to say goodbye
U hurt me for the last time
And now I am threw
I don???t want to let u go
BUT???I have to???I know I do
I can???t stand the pain anymore and the hurt
I did expect some emotions but all u did was smirk
But that is ok because u are a BIG JERK
I tried to be nice, I tried to be calm
But boy this was the last draw
U meant the world to me, and u were my everything
But now I know that u are my new enemy

First four stanza show real emotion and the realization of a dilemma that the reader can really relate to. It doesn't flow as well as it could. the last two stanza are a bit childish with words like "boy" and "jerk". Poem did move me however but perhaps that's because i have just been fucked over myself!
