Bedside Angel (Free verse) by feathers68
Bedside angel born of heaven, the heaven of touch, the heart of healing. Warm caresses ease my pain. Heated flesh and soul to heal. Bedside angel pulls me near, soft warm flesh does caress the need with in my battered soul. The warmth to heal the cold with in. Bedside angel calls to me, if not forever this caress will glide upon my broken muscles stretched, For now is enough, it will have to do. Bedside angel I am left wanting more.

Up the ladder: Thinkin of ya!
Down the ladder: Scarlet Letter

well, you use images that are so overused--angels and heaven, for example--and you bring nothing new to the reader. if you are left wanting more, tell us why? give us ssomething new. show us how your lover pleases you. reading this poem is like hearing someone say 'isn't it nice out today' when it's 80 and sunny there's a slight breeze. you state the obvious, and you do it obviously. try describing these experience with words that have texture, or smell, or taste...that's what left you hungry, right?
sorry i was rude.

Gadzooks. The badness. It's almost palpable.

The badness is quite palpable. it's like ectoplasm, but it smells like cat pee.
