Scarlet Letter (Other) by brokenheart
Standing in the altar when the sun is about to rise, Waiting for my love to come so she can be my bride. I have waited for so long for this dream to come true with the ring in my hand and the words "I do". At about noon, she arrived with a letter in her hand, With a sad look on her face she said "I hope you understand". As I read the letter tears flowed down my eyes, I broke down when I saw her final words "good bye". I couldn't believe the she found someone who was better than me, I thought that she was the one for me I thought that we were ment to be. I rushed out of the altar carring only a broken heart, the others were wondering "Why did I depart". Everyone ran outside to see me zoom away, They knew that I was in trouble and that begins the chase.

I dearly hope for your sake that you are straddling the chair backwards and smoking a cigar.

If you must know, Sir, I am smoking an pipe, and sitting as an gentleman shoulde, reading the morning poste, and whipping my maidservant Babette for failing to provide me with my morning Brandy. Good day to you Sir!
