Bottled Wisdom (Free verse) by Bethy
Found a note in side a bottle. I did. Over yonder I skipped, under a tree, I hid. Found a twig, stirred it 'round. Not retrieved. Not relieved. I heaved. Ahhh! Broke the bottle, read the note... To whom it may concern, Tis' a lesson you must learn, to free yourself of doubt, never fish in a leaky boat. Found a bottle, put in note, threw it out.

Up the ladder: A Vernal Tale
Down the ladder: Evil

Thank you Mr. Remp. I was hoping someone would see the true meaning of this poem, and it does not surprise me that it is you. Your intelligence and ability to interpret my poetry means a lot to me.

This poem resonated for me.. I particularly enjoyed the tempo that you have conveyed with your spacing of the text as it conveys the highs and lows of life just as much as the words you have chosen do!
