Eleven Reasons For Love (Free verse) by horus8
I. Children are the purest teachers capable even of walking on water, and spontaneous laughter. II. Woman are the mothers and sisters of heroes. They should be kept safe, and treated with respect, and honor. III. Man is the hardwork of giants, and the gentle hairy kisses of little boys reaped as golden wheat. IV. This plan(e)t is perfect in its ways, but we are flawed, and ignorant Blind to the flowers of Christs V. The stranger, the stranger is whatever you want it to be, but that does not make the stranger safe, or predictable. VI. The sun, well what can I say? The sun is fucking fantastic; a much better suited parent than yours VII. Mountains, full of forest and rock monsters and caves, gold! Eureka! Another way to get lost and found VIII. Oceans hide gods and secret Graveyards of diatoms, and cities of coral and aphrodite. Wonders. IX. The Sky is quick freezing warmth and houses spirits and Astaroth Vimmanas & warlords; breeze upon my cheek X. Deserts, deserts hold underground treasures They teem with life, and chaparel abounds with smells of death and promise. XI. Serpents, cosmic or not, kundalini What power? What words? What absurdities? Housing such sin that can't run.

Up the ladder: Foie Gras
Down the ladder: Distraction

Yo, Horus. Scramble this like eggs, lose the numeration, smatter the questions, and watch it fly.

Horus

It's been a long time since I last came here and some of the old timers have gone - where is God'swife's poetry? - but how good to see you're still here, still spitting it out according to your own personal rhythm - I like it.
