Victoria Applesmack and the Easy to Clean Wonder-Spleen (Free verse) by T. Jonathron Remp
I went to the bakery I went to the late great finger slate And wrote a poem about Life, the Universe, and Lemon Tang: Can you blame me For this pee- Colored liquid Which exists in the Universe (and Life is also involved) Then I sat next to the dead, rotting, body of a small invisible bacterium Which pretty much happens anytime you sit Unless you happen to be sitting next to one of the Mars Rovers Although new data suggest some bacteria may have survived the sterilization process

Up the ladder: The Coast Is Never Clear
Down the ladder: Foie Gras

This poeme exudes excellence, though the title is a little too 'self-consciously zany' for my tastes. -10-

Thank you! Yeah, the title gives it away

Your liminal existence will be neither remembered nor forgotten but rather swallowed by presque-vu and digested into terminal nonexistence.
