pissed off pretentious prat (Free verse) by keatsImnot
I've journied far to find myself Improve my mind, my mental health But now I'm home my mind is sick Of facile talk, the boring clique. No more the gossip at the bar Of goals that wern't, the latest car The bawling babies, nagging wife The disco scene, the plastic life I feel an alien whilst at home A self made exile all alone I've found myself but lost the key Of easy talk, the simple me

Exile/all alone is not tautological. One can be exiled but not alone, just as one can be alone but not exiled.

I can relate to your poem, Keatsimnot, and appreciate the humility of your log-in name; as compared to, say, poetandknowit.
