Intimate Joy (Free verse) by flightoffancy
The sun sinks with a sigh, gazing with longing at the moon. Knowing he can never have his distant mistress, unable to cross the uncrossable void. Once I looked into that void, never finding what I sought. Now your arms reach for me and the nothingness becomes the intimate joy we know as love.

By a bizarre coincidence, a guy in this internet cafe just asked me what the English word "intimate" means. I'm afraid to ask why he wants to know.

The uncrossable void line doesn't really work
