A LOVER’S TORMENT (Acrostic) by anushree
A chilly winter night as the wind blew I huddled Near the mantel beneath which the flames burned Near the warmth but yet as cold as frost A blizzard blew outside to make any being lost Hoping for Providence to stop the torrential storm Until I hear the footsteps of my beloved's form Near the mantel he must stand in flesh and blood This I demand from the lord above before the overwhelming flood

amost of the rhymes seem forced. Still it's a good sentiment.

Very beautifully worded. may be a bit forced, but on the whole you could justify your choice of words. Your presentation of the theme is what stands out. Good work.
