word splatter (Free verse) by nentwined
I look deep in your eyes and a welling of bile springs forth all over your pretty spring dress. I'm so sorry. Want to take a shower and fuck?

There was this news item about a student barfing over his teacher. Just exam nerves; the explanation he tossed around

What did she see that brought forth a welling of bile?
Or is the bile figurative for what you saw?
In either case - yuck - why the last line?

So many nights just like the one described make me resonate with this poem. Now I have to shower with my flat screen monitor. A bit of William Carlos Williams or Carlos William Carlos in this one.
