A Few Minutes' Reflection (Free verse) by longships
The poets had gathered and said their words, Along Marylebone Road, paper came alive in the wind. Traffic multiplied as the hour passed eleven, Cool drizzle fell from the black sky. Madame Tussauds breathed light on the planetarium, The Entity arising, spurred on Frankenstein's Monster. Baker Street ticket office left me destitute, Not quite sober, I shuffled onto the platform, The silver worm lay stationary, wheels in readiness. I sat down amongst the news, Quiet entered the carriage, 'Cept for a few celebrating supporters in black hoops. My JPS tasted sweet amid the day's ashes. I closed my eyes in conjured silence, Whilst awaiting the green light home.

Up the ladder: "Home"

I don't believe you meant for all those question marks to be there. You might want to take a look.
