Brother's Egg Book (Free verse) by Jeremi B. Handrinos
Is cartoon magic And high on my list of love It sits there collecting dust Small child scribbles turning Into tomorrow's quibbles with That great looming egg Yes, a mother But I've had none So say I'm clear Say I'm not a monster But soft savior Piling things around Me, in squares, and Suspensions. I'm collecting a better Perspective, and living My own bleak hell Bedecked in flowers And long legged lies Hopefully, I'll choke dead On a mouthfull of Bloody rubies And vinegar.

Down the ladder: I killed you in New Mexico

Something tells me this is a one-timer, pure. I'd leave it if it is.

I don't understand the second line, and scribbles/quibbles might be a bit forced, but I like this poem, especially

"Piling things around
Me, in squares, and
Suspensions."
