Cancer (Free verse) by tangerinepuddle
My skin I want out My body I want out This hole I want out gaping A thousand knives I have sharpened Carving in the raw tissue The gaping hole Grab my stomach Pull it out It's almost physical Flaws Black and far back Fuck this personality crap Fresh start she says Well, not here Everything is old, stale, dead Buildings, streets Restaurants and signs Windows Glaring, screaming Remember this? Look what you did!!!! I yearn to glare back But not this time I close my eyes Cover my face Don't listen, don't feel, don't think, don't remember my life Wrap me in a black shroud Place me under a tree Cast me in plaster and turn me off.

Up the ladder: He Hunts For Meaning
Down the ladder: Alfredo

Now, normally I try to give at least constructive criticism if not positive, but I don't see anything that could make this better. Sorry, try again.
