A friend told me (Free verse) by RION12
"Merry Christmas,Merry Christmas!" That is all I ever hear. I think how can Christmas be so merry if there is so much pain. How can people be so happy? I told my friend what I thought. This is what they told me back: "The world is bad. Your life is bad. Everything is bad. No matter how bad or how hard life is the smallest happy thing makes everything great."

Up the ladder: In Love as in Love
Down the ladder: LIFELINE

I think it needs a little more work before it can be called truly poetic.

How can something be called truly poetic? Is that different trom or better than poetic? This poem has a good theme with a lot of chunky language.

Thanks for likeing my poem and for sticking up for me. To me I don't care if my poetry is so called "truly poetic" as you say because I like writing poetry and that is all that matters. GOT IT!!!!!!! Thanks again Dovina.
