Only You (Free verse) by hatedestruction All that I've got and all that I
remember has caused me grief. I
refuse to admit I have come to
What this feeling is and now I
turn to face you and smile away
taunting, laughing at only you.
Any time I try and let myself breathe I
forget that you're here. Sometimes when I
close my eyes and wish that I could do
how we've wanted and now I
fall too close to you and another day
sighing, slipping for only you.

You have tried to relate an emotion you have felt to your readers using what you think are logical bridges and similis, but they fail logically. Most readers of poetry appreciate both emotion and logic.
Just when I thought shit had been explored in all its carefully packed splendor, I step in this.
