A Word (Free verse) by cuddlytiger17
A word you did not have to say For I loved you anyway You sent chills up my spine And said everything’d be fine I believed every word you said I really should’ve used my head You were like every other guy Playing your game, so slick and sly I found out way too late For my tender heart you did break And now I live my life in fear Never again shedding another tear.

Up the ladder: La Belle Epoque
Down the ladder: Adieu

I find this to be, through no fault of your own, entirely too much like entirely too many other poems on this subject to give it anything more than an 8

I agree with you, many people do write regarding this topic. However, I think an 8 is pretty good lol so thank you!

Yea, a little overwritten, but so is almost everything I've ever confined in ink. Still, I like it.
