The Way (Free verse) by Highschool_Poem_Girl
Touches me softly,
Kiss me softly,
Hug me closely,
Donât let go,
This moment will not,
Last long,
So letâs run away to be,
Together.
Never will our love fall,
Fade or burn.
I will remain yours.
I canât wait,
To be with you,
Forever.
Is our love,
Fate,
Or just lust,
Answers may be found,
In the stars.
Thereâs something about,
The way I canât take my eyes,
Off you,
And I want you to be mine,,
And if you need a reason why,
Itâs in the way that you move me,
And the way that I want you,
Tonight.
Itâs in the way that you,
Hold me,
And the way that you,
Know me.
When I canât find,
The right words to say,
You feel it in the way.
I canât put my fingers on,
Just what it is that makes me,
Love you.
Donât ask me to describe,
I get all choked up inside.
Iâve been watching you,
From a far,
And the way that you,
Make your way around.
Now your moving closer to me,
And our eyes are connected,
Emotionally.
I know that everybody here wants to,
Hold you,
I know what itâs like,
Cause I feel the same,
And when you say you love me,
Do you mean it.
I would wait until the end,
Of time,
To hear you say,
You love me,
Like you mean it.
All I want to do is make,
You mine.
Iâve been hurt,
Way to many times.
I love the way that you,
Stare at me.
Locked in a room,
Together.
Letâs see,
What we can make,
Of this night.
You move like you,
Really want me,
To move closer to you.
And our lips meet,
As you move on top,
Of me.
And touch me,
Gently,
Like you want to,
Have some fun.
Thereâs something,
About the way that,
You look tonight.
Thereâs something,
About the way,
That your lips invite,
Maybe itâs the way,
That I get nervous,
When your around.
Thereâs something,
About how you stay,
On my mind.
And the way that,
I whisper your name,
When Iâm asleep.
Maybe itâs the look,
You get in your eyes.
Or maybe itâs the,
Way that makes,
Me see you smile,
And the reasons,
They may change.
But the way that,
I feels stays the same,
Just thinking about,
The way.
Thereâs nothing more,
To say then,
I feel it in,
The way.
