Dream Dead (Free verse) by New Life Drug
Dark eyes, she cries
Cold stare, he's there
Silent storm, crippled memories
Standing alone, amongst vast seven seas
Beside the ocean he waits
She runs faster because she's late.
Then out of no where, comes along.
Sarinaded, she hears another man's song
She's swept away but he's still waiting
And the sun captures her from peace, but he's now forgotten.
Forgotten
Grey and blue, shallow mist
He's still waiting for her empty kiss
But he's forgotten now, as I said
To her he is a ghost, but no where near dead
Standing alone no more. The vast seven seas
She hides the mysterious memories
Beside himself he goes.
He knows she's left his soul.
Push back the waves, but no one cares
'cuz no one's there
Push back the storm, but it still rains
'cuz the song has changed... AND SO HAVE YOU
