suicide (Free verse) by durk
Somebody killed themselves yesterday, And many more did also, and many more will tomorrow. What's wrong America, why do you have to kill your own? What's wrong world, why do you have to kill your own? Whats wrong God, why do you have to kill your own? This somebody - who killed herself yesterday, Guess how old she was? Seventh Fucking Grade! She shot herself in the head with a gun. She'll never get a sip of alcohol. She'll never get to smoke a joint. She'll never get to make love to her boyfriend, or to nature, or to the world. What wrong society, what are we doing to our young, our next generation, the people who will lead the world tomorrow are killing themselves. What do you think about this George Bush? Did you know that girl? Do you care that there are brains of a little twelve year old girl splattered on her Britney Spears poster? George, do you have a daughter, Was she ever in the 7th grade? Hey Colorado, Hey America, Hey Japan, Hey Taliban, Hey World, Hey God, Do you care about this dead girl? What if your little 7th grade girl was dead? How would you feel then? I have a sister - 7th grade - when I think about this, it scares the shit out of me. Come on Society, lets keep out heads, lets work out our simple problems - What's that bad in 7th grade - Society, look at the world you've made. 2-2-02
