Paint Remover (Free verse) by Samantha
I picture me smiling like i always am why do i lie to myself when my heart is crying you all think i am happy always has a good face on when really i cry myself to sleep dont know how long i cant keep this mask on seems like the paint i put on everyday is running out the smile is up side down so when that time comes when i am no longer able to give you up lifting advice no longer able to have that cheerful face, no longer able to smile, wishing i could but the real me is out uncovered it is no longer possible
