Me, myself and I. (Free verse) by darby pyn
The unexpected mind is open for surprises. lean forward, bend the grip of sanity to focus on the invisible reward. feel the rigid grip loosen like discarded chewing gum. used and without flavor. be prepared for life’s tests. it’s an open wound, a reminder of my frailty. I’m the enemy my mother warned me about.
