The Redhead In The Subway (Free verse) by wolfen
She starved my carnal appetite,
And temptation was introduced,
By a redhead in a shopping mall on singles night,
I was wired, she was fused.
Animal attraction is a rabid beast,
It hungers desire and hunts for the feast.
Passion led us to a damp subway wall of graffiti,
A vagrant uttered his disgust in profanity.
I heard my lovers scream in her echoes,
Performed for my fantasies dressed in long shadows,
That oscillated like a newly restored clock,
Two hands moving slowly in time unable to stop.
When I came, she looked at me nervously,
not knowing what to say,
We touched fingers in a strange kind of handshake,
Inside I felt like the 1912 earthquake,
And without looking back,
She walked nonchalantly away
