You and I (Free verse) by Nirvana13666
I can hear your voice through the photograph So distant yet I hear you whispering in my ear Impatient to see you My eyes are blinded by anticipation I am lost without you yet confused with you How can my path be so clear then? Holding your heart in my cupped hands makes me anxious I am afraid to lose your love through the trickling blood Who am I without you? Nothing strong enough to last Nothing simple enough to make sense I know us to be soul mates drifting in shifting parallel time Continuous love vested in faith in our fate That is why together we find our perfect place.
