An Enviable Task (Free verse) by cleverdevice
I have navigated the indeterminable Bleakness of your soul and mapped its Craggy, desolate entirety. I have strived towards the fragments Of dischord that litter your mind And composed from them a symphony. I have struggled in battles with Demons in your head, and from the Ensuing melee drawn beauty. I have plunged deep into the abyss That is your heart and bought back the Last vessels of your morality. And after that, as easily as water Pours from a cup, you draw away from me.
