crying tears (Free verse) by NeeMan
the water on your cheeks burns slowly, sinking
through layers of well-spent moments
damming up in puddles of despair
forming waterfalls here and there
freezing in the deeper parts where human heart
should be, but no longer resides
'cause it has fled from avalanche
snowstorms shaving past vast landscapes
occupied by spirit's mates
emotions taking shelter
emotions helter skelter
convinced its Armageddon getting down with logic
confusing me, creating chaos
by now the mates had gathered up
in single file they stampede strongly, struggling
through shortcuts of ill-spent weekends
expanding in crammed up holes
bursting out in shivers cold
melting through the outer layer of my mask
protecting us but cannot help
to crack and tears start rolling.
