IV (Deuteronomy's Lament) (Free verse) by coalcracker
Dare I eat a peach? Dare I disturb the universe? (3) Who cares about that crap. My bowels frighten me more. I hate being c o n s t i p a t e d. What was I talking about again? Oh, yes, the Depression. We were so poor Our tin cans were made of wood. (4) And we couldn't even afford vwls. (5) Oh! It passed. Time for Love Boat. (6) Oh! That Isaac!
