Thorns of Grace (Free verse) by smlink84
As I lay for a time, I saw the truth of mine The worldly wealth of a second comming, Only to rule out My soul for eternal being. Misery invites me For a walk in the thorns, And right beside me Are the vanquished souls Whom have vanished In the abyss of self-pity. I have been tempted I have given in, But he who suffered Gives me grace. For here I stand Only on his land And may he recieve Glory Through one, not worthy.
