genuine (Free verse) by brazen
half a glass is empty when your throat is dry can't ever quench the burning of a thoughtful, cynical mind. better hide in shadows see and not be seen rather gather then bother with a world leaving you in fear those lies dripping like tears you made them both flow can't see either as true now to just ponder why and how this came alive when all i had to do is die inside. a sphere of consequences embodies the flow of desire behind my blank stare is a child with a smile shackled to the dungeon wall too weak to break the chain fate has set its course. all of you is half of me this is how we're meant to be nothing ever sprouted though i never doubted i am you, you are me.
