An Arrow and a Knife (Free verse) by blues A bow and arrow
shot through my heart
The feeling made me warm
Then you took that arrow out
and replaced it with a knife
in my back
The feeling made me sick
Sick of knowing that an arrow
once shot through my heart
That first feeling,
was never mutual.
