A Choice (Free verse) by Dovina
Beyond any meaning we can assign to the happiness we’ve shared, whatever links us is mostly wordless and would be hard to break. Beyond any meaning we can assign to the wall of sadness we’ve shared, whatever separates us is stubborn and would be hard to break. So it goes, the two living together, the link and the wall, not so uncommon really, only the choice to befriend the one or shun the other. Here’s to the times you befriend our happiness. They make me glad.
