Root Shallow (Lyric) by Miggy
I grow weak and weary Wearing this haunted ring Which brings me the envy Of the love I once had for you I feel futile and lost As you lost last simple fling And with every line you crossed My feelings would plunge right though (Chorus) Just when the past started to fade You bring back my falling apart So even though I long for another day You’re just root shallow in my heart I lose my fear and hope Looking at our together picture Lied so much that I couldn’t cope As if the image wasn’t there I run from your missed attempts To bring me back with a fixture Tries keep throwing back for suspense All to make your feelings care (Chorus) Maybe I wasn’t the one for you Maybe I was I don’t worry about the difference Cause all it is Is between impossible and hopeless (Chorus/Ending)
