carnivalesque (Free verse) by sarah
porcelain promises from under a mask painted like a dali painting suggestively looking right at me with perfectly lined eyes i almost cry i know you lie mouthe agape courted by hidden abhorrence slicked up songs celebrated by sirens manipulating me my inner voice calls out rescue your self screw the top shelf daily drinks of rum (your idea of fun) mask off = macabre misconceived truths spew your infectious misery at the next booth i'm singin the move on song that carnival of being treated like crap it's so stale like popcorn forlorn on a floor after big nights of fun you came undone you are a loaded gun wear your pretty mask for someone else i'm too fast

"painted like a dali painting" pick a painting and kill the other.

This is, otherwise, pimple - not a bad one though.
