Playing Cards... (Free verse) by Blindpoetry
I often think about our card pattern Wondering… What’s beyond? The plaid stripes Hide the memories The white, spotless card Still haunts me It’s still in my deck That one you bought me It gave instructions Uncommon, but I followed I played, only to find A scam before me There was only meant to be Only one player – no team Just one, just one …I fold The stripes, plaid stripes Hide the rules – let us play our own game Play as partners, a team or against each other Let’s play… Go Fish… -...in need for critisism - badly!

Up the ladder: farmer's market
