Coat hanger (Free verse) by april fool
I'm the coat hanger in your wardrobe Waiting for the chance To see you disrobe I hang all day and wait for the night Off come the clothes and on comes the light I sit and I look, and can't help but to stare As you cover me with your dress and stand in underwear You close the wardrobe door And I want to take to task Your underwear on the floor And I am dying to ask Why I don't get to see As you take off your bottom layer Why I'm hidden in the wardrobe While the furniture gets to stare

Up the ladder: I'd like to
Down the ladder: Life On Earth

Personified furniture is the best thing ever. I have written a series of short, incomprehensible tales about a magical hat and shoe who live in an enchanted wardrobe and then meaninglessly attack people. I will keep them to myself, I think.
