Trod that frog, a true story (Free verse) by furgrub
One night I went out for a walk And as I was having a good talk I thought I had trodden on a log But actually it had been a frog It had been big and it had been fat Now it was big and unfortunately flat As I looked down, I felt so sad With myself I felt quite mad If only I had just looked down Instead of looking all around The poor frog was still and looked quite dead Its legs were squashed and really red I carried on along my route Returning later, 'cos I gave a hoot But I found the frog was no longer there Possibly could it have hopped away? I doubt it, but could not surely say

Up the ladder: I hate you
Down the ladder: Three things
